Republicans Edge Ahead of Democrats in Poll of Likely 2010 Voters

A recent Gallup poll indicates a resurgence of the GOP in the 2010 congressional elections. While this might seem great news, one must ask themselves an obvious question , which is this; does the mere GOP label indicate a belief in the values this nation was founded on, or does it simply indicate slower growth of the socialist/statist journey this nation has been on since Theodore Roosevelt and his Republican Progressive movement?

If you will, please forgive this independent minded, radical conservative in the spirit of  Thomas Paine, anti government libertarian, free market capitalist, fierce individualist, self sufficient, and arrogant liberty loving individual his skepticism. For he has been on this earth long enough to realize that polls in essence mean little to nothing. They are just an indicator of the current mood.

As they say, stick your finger in your mouth, pull it out, and you will be able to tell which direction the political winds are blowing AT THE MOMENT.

So conservatives, libertarians, freedom loving Americans of all stripes, don't believe the polls. If you want to restore this country then INCREASE the pressure on your Representatives and Senators in Congress

The boys and girls you have elected to represent you are in fact out of touch with your wishes as well as reality in general. It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to demand they hold true to their oath to preserve and protect the Constitution of the United States of America. For far too long they have elected to ignore this obligation to you and their country.

So as you read the "good news" of  a Republican Resurgence in 2010, RN USA asks that you remember these two simple facts; polls are fleeting, and that  GWB, the conservative Republican poster child turned out to be nothing more than a big government statist who believed in the vice of a government regulated economy.

There is plenty of evidence to support the preceeding pronouncements. If only one looks for it.
