Two weeks ago RN USA started Ayn Rand Monday, which is meant to be to be a tribute to Rand, her philosophy, and her literary works.While perusing the library of Rand videos at You Tube today in preparation for next Monday I happened on a video illustration I thought really good.

So, even though it is not Rand Monday, the urge to post was so great the temptation could not be resisted. Call it a special Ayn Rand Friday. It is hoped you enjoy these simple, yet profound words of wisdom.

April Job Numbers Appear Improved... Are They Really?

The good news is unemployment fell to a four year low, certainly at year six in Obama's Presidential tenure strikes a positive note. Or does it? At the same time the number of people employed part time rose as well as strong indications are showing the Affordable Care Act (ACA aka ObamaCare) will have a long term negative impact on the USA economy. The following is an interesting analysis and one that certainly has some credibility. AEI - US job growth in April beat economist expectations as nonfarm payrolls rose 165,000, and the jobless rate fell to a four-year low of 7.5%. When "their side" has nothing of substance to offer, and they known it, posters such as the one below become popular. Such posters are considered intellectual by the teabag folks on the right. To be balanced such posters do find their way onto left-wing weblogs. The difference? Posters on left-wing sights generally carry a valid message and the commentary factually supports the message of the post. Some random commentary from the tea-publican weblog follows. However, my take is the shift, as significant as it has been, came too late and too little.
